Are you having trouble adjusting to motherhood? Are you feeling sad, anxious, angry, or scared? Do you feel like there is no hope of feeling better? Are you physically and emotionally exhausted? You’re not alone, mama.
We know that as many as 1 in 5 moms struggle with postpartum depression and anxiety. Many times it can feel like you’re the only one, but know that you are NOT alone. We invite you to join us in one of our groups. These groups offer a safe, supportive environment for you to begin your journey to healing.
All of our groups are women only (female friends and family members are welcome to join for support).

Therapist-Led Virtual Support With Miranda
Postpartum Support Charleston is offering this monthly support group for new moms to provide a safe space to share the struggles of becoming a new parent. Connect with therapist, Miranda Layton, and other mothers and know that you are not alone in this journey.
Therapist-Led Trauma Support Group
Please join us for this once a month virtual support group for mothers who are navigating pregnancy or postpartum in the context of a trauma history (e.g., sexual trauma, birth trauma, childhood trauma, etc.). This group will be led by Dr. Katie Rider Mundey, Psychologist and Founder of She Thrives Psychology & Counseling.
Walk & Play Group
Wannamaker County Park 8888 University Blvd, North Charleston, SC, United StatesLet's gather together and go on a walk! We will meet at the playground and walk about a mile along a paved, stroller friendly path. Afterwards, we will hang out by the playground and let the littles play!
Military Moms Group
Monthly virtual peer-support group for Active Duty Military and Veteran moms. We know that being in the military can bring about unique challenges in motherhood and we hope this group will help you find community and support amongst other moms who are in similar situations and can relate to yours.
Art Therapy
Public Works Art Center 135 W Richardson Ave, Summerville, south carolinaPostpartum Support Charleston is partnering with Public Works Art Center to bring Art Therapy to new moms! Led by MUSC's Arts in Healing, this class will involve hands-on art making and therapist-led discussions about motherhood. Babies in arms welcome.
