“That’s not me. I’m not doing great, but I’m not doing that bad, either.”
Guess what, mama? Our support groups aren’t just for the hard days. They’re for all the days.
The days when you feel a little off.
The days when motherhood feels heavier than usual.
The days when you just want to be around people who understand.
You don’t have to wait until you’re at your breaking point to reach out. And you certainly don’t need a diagnosis to deserve community.
At Postpartum Support Charleston, our groups are built for connection. They’re judgment-free, pressure-free spaces where you can show up as you are — even if that means you don’t know what to say. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes we cry. But we always walk away feeling a little more seen, a little more supported, and a little less alone.
We watch some of the closest friendships start in these groups. In those moments when you realize someone else gets it — whether it’s the sleepless nights, the unexpected anxiety, or just the overwhelming love and pressure of being a mom. That kind of connection can change everything.
And it’s not just about us. Taking care of our mental health helps us show up more fully for our babies. When you fill your own cup, you’re better able to respond to your child’s needs with patience, love, and calm. That’s the kind of support every Charleston mama deserves.
This year, we’ve expanded and refreshed our support offerings to better serve moms across the Charleston area. Whether you’re looking for a quiet moment, a safe space to share, or just want to walk and talk with someone who understands—you’ll find something here for you.

You’re Welcome Here, Always
Support groups can feel intimidating. But here’s the truth: you don’t have to be struggling to show up. You just have to be a mom looking for connection, reassurance, or a little breath of fresh air.
Let’s support each other.
